In my opinion, the damage fee that this hotel holds the customers responsible for is the key to their success as an excellent overnight experience. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the breakfast was just perfect with a nice variety of choices of breakfast offerings. The staff was warm and welcoming. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely choose the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Salem, Va. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Brandi the receptionist at the front desk was so informative. Also Cory from the morning breakfast . Went above and beyond to help me with my pancakes .. The pancake maker machin was having issues and he stepped in and made a couple of adjustments and made it work for me.

We stayed in a handicap room, which was not requested, but we enjoyed the convenience and extra space. Our room was just off the main lobby, and around the corner from the breakfast area. The breakfast was very well stocked, everything was fresh, and the ladies were very helpful and friendly.

We liked the location and the clean comfortable room on our trip to FL from NY. We were in at 6PM and out at 6AM. The gentleman at check in was very friendly.

The front desk staff and the kitchen staff are always phenomenal every time I stay here. They are the reason I keep choosing this hotel on my frequent commute from GA to PA

Super clean, has everything you could possibly need, numerous charging ports and electric outlets. Lots of shelves and hooks, large bathroom. Outdoor Pool was not heated and super cold. Breakfast was the usual mediocre fare. But the room was great, the staff was friendly and plenty of parking Would definitely stay here again.

It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed at multiple hotels in the area and this was my best experience yet. We will definitely be staying here again!
